Microsoft released an AI Copilot for the 365 suite which is integrated into Microsoft 365 apps in two ways:
AI-generated suggestions and content for documents, presentations, and data analysis in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. In Outlook, it summarizes email threads and suggests replies and in Teams, it summarizes key discussion points and provides real-time suggestions for action items.
a new feature called Business Chat. It works across Microsoft 365 apps and your data - your calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings and contacts - to surface the information and insights you need from a sea of data using natural language prompts.
Microsoft also announced next-generation AI copilot in Microsoft Power Apps - With Copilot in Power Apps, makers can easily start creating an app using just a few words in natural language. Power Apps instantly generate an application complete with a data table as well as the back-end logic.
OpenAI released GPT-4. See this video by Join Brockman, President and Co-Founder, OpenAI showcasing some of its capabilities. The text input capability is available for ChatGPT Plus subscribers ($20/m), while the image input capability is available via one of their partners Be My Eyes.
Midjourney, the generative AI tool for images, has released V5. It has much higher image quality, more diverse outputs, wider stylistic range, support for seamless textures and more.
Khan Academy has launched Khanmigo, a GPT-4 powered AI assistant functioning as a virtual tutor for students and a classroom aide for teachers.
Duolingo has launched Duolingo Max, which offers users access to two GPT-4-powered features: Explain My Answer and Roleplay. These new features provide users with explanations for their answers and allow them to practice real-world conversation skills with virtual characters.
Intercom has developed a new AI-powered customer service chatbot called Fin, built on the GPT-4 model, which is designed to reduce inaccuracies and hallucinations in generated replies. Fin works by consuming information from existing help centers and provides customers with natural-sounding responses that are backed by trusted sources only.
Anthropic, the Alphabet/Google-backed company, has made Claude, a potential competitor to chatGPT, available for early access to everyone through a wait list.
Google has announced the availability of AI-powered writing features in Docs and Gmail to ‘trusted testers’.
Google also announced PaLM API and MakerSuite for developers with the aim to simplify generative AI application development workflows. However, as of now, these tools are only available to select developers.
Microsoft has confirmed that the new Bing runs on OpenAI’s GPT-4

Automates lead generation and email outreach. It uses AI to find potential leads that fit specific criteria based on the user's niche & industry, as well as to generate hyper-personalized messages by analyzing web pages.
